Laura joined Penstock in 2021 as Chief Operating Officer and was promoted to President of Penstock in 2022, where she now leads the healthcare payment integrity and regulatory solutions company. With over 20 years of experience in various payment integrity roles, supporting large healthcare organizations, Laura is skilled in implementing strategies and standardized models to improve client results. She is driven by a best-practice approach that reduces costs and improves efficiency for clients.
Prior to joining Penstock—and the Goodroot community of companies—Laura was Director of Consulting at one of the largest IT and business consulting firms in the world, where she worked with health plan clients to deliver recovery audit services.
Laura joined Penstock to eliminate the billing and payment errors that cause patients and payers to spend more than they should on healthcare. At Penstock, Laura manages new program development, facilitates partnerships, and participates in the development of long-range strategic plans and objectives for the business. Under Laura’s leadership, Penstock is disrupting the healthcare payment integrity industry, ensuring accurate billing and payment, and preventing future errors through education, service, technology and training. Laura has driven Penstock’s growth, doubling the size of the team and surpassing business goals.
